Its landscapes marked by sun-drenched tobacco and sugar cane fields, and its cities ripe with music, dancing, and jubilation. Cuba is a favorite tourist destination for travelers from all corners of the world. This book presents a wide selection of Cuban homes, hotels, gathering places, and more, encompassing everything from traditional time-worn dwellings bearing the patina of generations of habitation to art deco buildings, Modernist houses, a cigar factory, a Havana teenage hangout, a home with a Lalique-designed interior, and a hotel where Hemingway once stayed before he decided to buy a farm on the outskirts of Havana. Ranging in style from working class to top-notch luxury, this colorful collection reveals the spirit of Cuban living for all walks of life.
