If Jane were with us today, as well as being a world class novelist, she might have had her own column in an upmarket glossy - a smart-cookie agony aunt. Jane Austen's Guide to Modern Life's Dilemmas is a look at work, domestic and romantic dilemmas, answered using Jane's clear-eyed, witty, unsentimental view of life, love and money. Turn to it as you would a best friend.
