Dmitry Glukhovsky je ruský spisovateľ a novinár. spisovateľskú dráhu začal v roku 2002, Keď na svojej internetovej stránke sprístupnil zdarma román Metro 2033. Kniha sa medzi fanúšikmi sci-fi stala hitom a poslúžila ako predloha pre rovnomennú videohru. Román sa pravdepodobne dočká aj filmového spracovania v Hollywoode. Po úspechu svojej prvotiny vydal Glukhovsky v roku 2009 jej pokračovanie s názvom Metro 2034.
